Making through materials
My work moves between clay, natural colour and material experiments. I am interested in what happens when process is allowed to stay visible—in the traces left by fire, plants, minerals and hands.
Crafty Place is where I test ideas through making: from ceramic firing and natural dyes to pigments, field materials and new tools for makers.
Currently exploring: natural dye plants, pigment making and alternative ceramic firing.

I am Tsvetelina Kovacheva, an artist and maker working with ceramics, natural colour and experimental material processes. Crafty Place grew from my need for a space where making, research and nature could meet.
